Southeastern NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services Announces New CEO
Dover ─ Southeastern NH Alcohol & Drug Abuse Services (SENHS), a comprehensive substance use disorder treatment facility located in the Strafford County Complex, announced the new chief executive officer, Nick Pfeifer, was appointed on August 22, 2018.
The Board of Trustees at SENHS appointed Nick Pfeifer, who currently sits on the NH Board of Licensing & Other Drug Use Professionals, the Clinical Advisory Team for the Integrated Delivery Network and the Provider Advisory Board for Wellsense Healthplan to lead the team at SENHS.
Mr. Pfeifer brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience from the behavioral health and mental health fields to lead our staff and talented team of clinicians at SENHS. He is dually licensed as a Master Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor and a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. Mr. Pfeifer is not only an asset to our agency and clinical staff, but also an incredible addition to the community.
SENHS recently expanded its 90-day residential treatment program, Turning Point, from 12 to 28 beds ─ “I am really excited to lead such a talented group of professionals,” Pfeifer stated. “We are working hard to bridge the gap in NH substance misuse treatment services and very excited to strengthen the existing programming and develop additional services to meet the needs of the community.”
For 39 years, SENHS has been on the frontlines working with individuals and families every day to provide the help they so desperately need for SUD treatment services, residential treatment programming, outpatient services, intensive outpatient services, Drug Court, women’s programming and prevention education.
